MARIA CWA Published

The CEN Workshop agreement on Modelling for Automotive Repair Information Applications (MARIA) has now been published on the CWAs website, bringing to a conclusion the process initiated by the MYCAREVENT project in 2006. Activity now moves to the development of a full standard as mandated by the Euro 5 regulation, which is expected to get under way in the next few months.

Standardisation Mandate received by CEN

The formal mandate to start the process for the European standard referenced by the Euro 5 regulation has now been received by CEN, and will now be circulated to national standards bodies for approval. In the meantime, CEN is looking at the committee structure and business plan which will be required to take the mandate forward. Parties wishing to participate in the standardisation process should contact their national standards bodies for information about progress of the mandate, and the process for involvement

In the meantime, the final CWA version of MARIA is now available to members of the workshop on the CWA Livelink site (sign-on required).
